The International Committee of the Civil Engineering Student Union (ÉMK HK) acts as the bridge between international students, faculty leadership, and the wider student community at BME. Joining our team gives you the opportunity to actively shape academic and social life on campus.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Affairs & Education:
Midterm Calendars: Coordinate with professors and students to harmonize test dates and avoid scheduling clashes across semesters.
Exam Monitoring: Supervise exam session planning and ensure compliance with faculty academic regulations.
Student Advocacy: Collect academic feedback and represent international student interests directly to the faculty administration.
Freshmen Mentoring & Integration:
Onboarding New Students: Guide incoming international students through university administration, Neptun setup, and campus navigation.
Peer Support: Act as the first point of contact for daily academic and student-life questions.
Event Organization & Community Life:
Plan social events, welcome mixers, cultural meetups, and academic networking opportunities to bring Hungarian and international students closer together.
